Ireland…

I have no idea why I have been blessed with the friends and experiences that I have.

I can only say that I am forever grateful.

Castle Leslie

There are days that you look back on and think that was so wonderful.

It is even more wonderful when you realize it in the moment.

I never needed a passport until last year.

One evening last August I was searching travel costs and I accidentally bought a ticket to Ireland.

I panicked.

I messaged my friends that someone needed to go with me.

I messaged my friend Lynore and hoped that our paths would be able to cross.

I am so very thankful they did.

Life is inevitably going to hand you painful moments and tragedies.

And sometimes a beautiful soul shows up to let you know that you are not alone.

A kind word.  A sweet note.  They can be everything you didn’t know you needed.

Add in a wicked sense of humor and a little mischief and you have met my friend Lynore.

Ireland was always something that I would say I would love to go visit one day.

I never really dreamed it would be possible.

My children would check out our ancestry and we would see the percentages.

I think everyone claims to be a little Irish.  Now I see why.

A welcoming home.  A cup of tea.  And so much beautiful life in all that green.

My spirit feels renewed.

I don’t know how much of my DNA is Irish but I do know that 100% of my heart is.

Thank you Lynore for all of your kindness.

Vicki, Me and Lynore

Forever grateful,

Cheryl
